I think it’s time to write down an idea, what became a story, and later on our well loved and cherished little brand called “DORSYA”.
Everything started on a sunny afternoon on the 27th of July, 2018, while sitting with my husband in our that time shared little house. While talking about our day, he came up with the idea of creating a brand and while both of us working full time try to develop this idea little by little.
I said sounds exciting, tell me more.
So he suggested to sell watches.
And if I’m being honest I said watches?! There’s so many out there, what we could do differently to stay out of the crowd and to be heard by the World?!
And he replied saying exactly that, what you and me love the most, is travelling the World in our spare time, so we should sell not only a watch but the story the watch holds with the World Map design on it.
Each Watch could represent something different to everyone out there, but also all of us could be united by the idea of the love for travel.
And DORSYA was born, a women watch brand designed and based in London, and founded by D.Orsy and Arpi in 2018.
DORSYA is the reflection of our passion for travelling.
We are a couple, who’s dream was to create an accessory what speaks to his owner in the language of travel.
When we designed and launched DORSYA our purpose was to motivate people to travel and live the life of their dreams, while wearing an accessory what will always has the power to remind them of their amazing adventures around the World and in the same time inspire them to discover the wonders life has for them.
And here I say proudly: Welcome to the World of DORSYA!
Our Signature Collection “The World Map Watch & Necklace “ is suitable for the modern women and for everyone who loves to travel.
When it was time to name our watches we wanted something different, remarkable and unique. We wanted to ad history and significance to our watches. Something that goes back in time and is timeless, but still will add a travel-related personality to them. The perfect choice was the names of the Travel Gods of Roman mythology.

To give a more personal touch to the brand we used our creativity and combined the letters from our own names D.Orsy and Arpi, so this way DORSYA was born.
A special role in defining our logo had a pendant with a letter “O” what Orsy has. But we found just a letter to be too simple so we placed our “O” in a Diamond shape reflecting that every one of us is special and unique in so many different ways.
Targeting the mid-market our aim was to create a sophisticated and quality brand with affordable price.
All our watches are made with care and attention to details.
